Hiya guys,today is the eve of the Chinese lunar new year,which is commonlyknown to the chinese as  " 除夕" . The year 2007 is supposely to be the year of the "golden" boar which is an auspicious year for the chinese,however 2007 actually is the year of the "fire" boar,which is regarded as rather unauspicious for the chinese. The year 2007 is the year of the "golden" boar is actually a gimmick by the cunning buisnessmen so as to make sure that the sale this year dosen't drop. Well,this is rather wicked of them to do this, because it is cheating the public...                                           

 Well,my school celebrate the Chinese lunar new year yesterday,as the " 除夕" fall on saturday. The celebration was fun,there was beautiful music from the guzheng ensemble,but the dance society and the school chior performance was a fluke,but we still have fun laughing at them anyway.  As the day conincide with the total defence day,the NPCC and NCC also show us an excellence performance of the WW2,the guy selling the satay was very funny in his banter with his customers about "no pork" Haha...type "no pork" in youtube,and you'll know what I mean.  The mad part was that when we were watching the performance,the fire alarm suddenly sounded,and all of us was like "WTF"? But then we started to smell smoke,and then we started to run out of the hall down to the field. Actually....This was a plot by the school to make us realise the importance of "Total Defence" blah..blah..blah...

They make us stand in the hot sun for like...half an hour before the principle finish her "total defense speech" and then allowing us to go. That was like..freaking totally unnesecary lah! It's soo wasting our precious time And me forgetting to bring my physics theory workbook and the stupid freaking technical problem on IT Day made me lose 20% of my CA marks. So totally cool,yeah.

Anyway,despite the various "mad things" before Chinese new year,I still hope this year will be a very good year for me,God willing...As this is also the year i'm sitting for the 'N' Levels,and I pray that I will do great in the exams and go on to O'levels and so forth...
